Autumn is the perfect time to try new strategy games! For the first time AVETH and VAUZ organize joined “Game Night” with PhDs, postdocs and scientific staff from both ETH and UZH ! We will compete in the strategy games called “Saboteur”, “Codenames”, “Mafia” and other!

An international meeting for all scientists and those interested in Gender and Science (Physics and Chemistry) organized by NCCR MUST and Excellence Cluster RESOLV. Speakers from Switzerland and Europe make presentations on key issues and initiatives to counter gender imbalance in science. What does the research show about the opportunities for women and men to achieve a successful scientific career? Are their barriers to career development? How do men and women combine family life and scientific research? What does gender have to do with physics and chemistry?
Could you imagine Zurich city without trams? If not, AVETH invites you to turn back the time at the unique and historic Zurich Tram Museum. The Museum tells the story of Zurich, the economic and industrial changes in the city leading to urban mobility and the development of the city transport network (ZKH). The museum visitor will find exhibition areas and active displays of Trams. You will be able to see original vehicles and associated materials from 1897 to 1960, including engines, uniforms, ticket machines, a model layout of working trams, a rolling Baby Cobra and lots more. The Art&Science Collaborative invites you to “Paint the Science”, an evening to experiment mixing science and visual art! You don’t need to be good at drawing to take part! Everyone is welcome!
