Do you want to know more what your PhD is about? The PhD regulations at ETH Zurich are currently undergoing a revision and we would like to invite you to an open discussion about these changes. The discussion is organized by the Academic Association of Scientific Staff at ETH Zurich (AVETH) and will take place on Monday, April 29 from 18.00 to 19.30 at HG D5.2.

AVETH International Food Festival offers the 2nd culinary trip all across the world (more information about the 1st one). You yourself present your home country to your fellow students by adding something edible to our international buffet. We provide the infrastructure of the GEP-Pavillion and the AVETH-bar with beer, wine and soft drinks and you take care of the food and your country specific booze .

You’ll have the possibility to heat up your food. (But there are no pans or pots, you’ll have to bring your own ones). A refrigerator is also available. You should bring a speciality of food or drink particular of your home country for about 4 people. You tell us where you come from and we will give you the contact details from your registered fellow countrymen. Each team will receive SFR 20 for already bought ingredients.

The country with the best effort can win a prize, so be creative (decoration, taste, variety). The maximum number of participants are limited to 50 people and registration is necessary below. In case of any questions please do not hesitates to contact Amir (ashahab@ethz.ch).

AVETH welcomes its new board members elected at the previous general assembly: Ima, Katarina, Luisa, Mamta, Maryam, Arnaud, Chris and Marc. We also thank the leaving board members Jenna and Amir for their hard work and continuous support in the last years.
