This Saturday, November 12, 2011 AVETH Board met at Villa Hatt and discussed plans for the next year and other organizational issues. We have agreed on a new Hot Topic 2012 – its working title is “Come Together”. Under the theme of coming together we would like to promote further personal network development for AVETH members through our social events and Podium Discussion organization. Our overall goal is accomplishing the formation of an AVETH Department Association network; strengthening our ties with Alumni; improve communication among people actively involved into AVETH related work. More details will come soon.
One of the key points in the discussion was related to our capacity – How much AVETH can afford with current number of active members? The Board agreed that we have been developing at a right pace, however better structure of projects and working groups may lead to more efficient distribution of the workload. We will continue our organization into working groups (sports, culture and arts, politics, science platform, database synchronization, public relations etc) also next year.
Also, we decided on the plan for the “AVETH News 2012″ issue. However, if you would like to help us with graphics and layout design – we will be glad if you get in contact with us ( info@aveth.ethz.ch )!
