This Friday, February 3, 2012 the AVETH board traveled to Lausanne and met with ACIDE (EPFL Association of Research Scientists and Lecturers). This was the first meeting of the associations since 2008 and both AVETH and ACIDE are looking forward to re-establish a close connection and cooperation. The goal of the meeting was two fold. First, we exchanged general information about organization, structure, statistics and social events of AVETH and ACIDE. Second, we presented political issues currently being faced. Both boards agreed to arrange such meetings on a regular basis and the next one will take place in Zurich in 6 months. We would like to thank ACIDE for organizing this meeting at EPFL.
