AVETH Board meeting on the first day of winter

Despite the snowing weather and related traffic problems in Zurich, AVETH Board gathered in time for the regular meeting in its headquarters.

During the meeting board members exchanged news from different committees and projects they are participating in. Also, some serious decisions were taken. For example, from now on we will maintain only English version of AVETH homepage. If you would like to change the situation and ready to help us with translation of English texts to German, please, get in contact with AVETH team. We hope for your understanding.

As you may know, at some departments there exist AVETH "sub-organizations" (in German: Fachverein). We find it confusing to have two names for one body and we would like to find new easy-to-remember name to call "sub-organizations". Do you have anything in mind? Maybe, you are familiar with similar examples from other Universities. Feel free to express your suggestions and send email to: info@aveth.ethz.ch with subject: "new name for sub-organization".
