Survey on perception of alarms at ETH Zurich

Survey on perception of alarms at ETH Zurich

Dear AVETH members,

ETH Zurich’s Safety, Security, Health and Environment (SSHE) unit is currently reassessing the university’s alarm systems. As part of this process, they are interested in identifying potential human factors that may affect how alarms are perceived and responded to across campus.

At the request of SSHE, we kindly invite you to participate in a short anonymous survey. The goal is to better understand how staff experience and react to alarms in their daily environment. Your input will contribute to improving ETH Zurich’s overall alarm and emergency communication strategies.

Please complete the survey by 30.05.2025 using the following link:

The survey takes approximately 10 minutes or less to complete. Thank you very much for your valuable support!

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Roland Nisple (roland-nisple@ethz.ch).

Your AVETH Presidency
