Gender and Science Lecture Series

Program Autumn Semester 2025
The program for this year’s Gender & Science Lecture Series at ETH Zurich is out! It is offered as a block seminar every Tuesday in November.
The Gender & Science Lecture Series is organised by SWiSH (Society for Wom*n at D-GESS) and hosted by the Chair of Practical Philosophy as part of the Science in Perspective Program. It offers an introduction to the relationship between gender and science, with a focus on the specific intersections with the sciences taught at ETH.
This semester we again have a wonderful line-up of public lectures on four Tuesdays in November by inspiring speakers who will give an insight into how gender affects knowledge production in their field.
Find the details on each lecture in the ETH event calender or download the semester program here: https://polybox.ethz.ch/index.php/s/EgQGTtYGindwZc3
The lectures are open to everyone at ETH via Zoom. Please join if you’re interested and share within your teams/associations so we can bring more attention to the ways in which gender influences scientific research to students and staff across ETH.
