Did you know that every month, a part of your salary is contributed to a pension fund? If you’re employed at ETH, it goes to the Swiss Federal Pension Fund, known as PUBLICA. PUBLICA ensures that your retirement savings grow over time by investing in a diverse range of financial assets. But what exactly is your money invested into?

AVETH is excited to host a webinar “Responsible Investments at PUBLICA”, taking place online on Monday, 8 September 2025 from 11:00 to 12:00 CET.

In this session, we’ll hear from Manuela Guillebeau, sustainability specialist at PUBLICA, on how the Swiss federal pension provider incorporates Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) considerations in its CHF 42.5 billion in assets for more than 110,000 members. A Q&A session will follow.

This session is targeted towards all ETH and EPFL employees, including PhDs, Postdocs, Researchers, Professors, staff, etc. However, all federal employees are welcomed to join.
