ALEA Award for Thomas Meierhans

Last Friday March 17th AVETH together with ETH VPPL had the pleasure to award the Art of Leadership Award 2023.
We congratulate Thomas Meierhans, head of the metal workshop at D-BAUG, for receiving this well-deserved honor. Further congratulations go to Lavinia Heisenberg, professor at D-PHYS, and Mark Tibbitt, professor at D-MAVT, for being chosen as finalists.

This year the collaboration between AVETH and VPPL made it possible to also nominate people in leadership positions, but without official personnel responsibilities. 48 people were nominated, and we want to thank the jury consisting of members from AVETH, Diversity and Collaboration, HR consulting, Ombudsperson and Staff Commission for their work.

We are looking forward to continuing this award in 2024 and again congratulate the winner and finalists.
