With deft use of examples of humor and wordplay, Steven Pinker weaves our vast knowledge of language into a compelling story: language is a human instinct, wired into our brains by evolution.

Because of the short time between May’s and June’s bookclubs and the length of “The Language Instinct”, we extraordinarily encourage everyone to join, regardless whether they have read the book or not.
